KY's Birthday :D

So we celebrated KY’s birthday on last Friday, Annie’s attendance have shocked many as most of us have not seen her for months (since end of January I reckon?). The venue was determined to be at JAM Café, previously Jeff & Wind Café at Sungai Dua, Penang. I was told by Mr. Oh that he will be coming for it but he couldn’t make it once again due to his stomach problem. Attendants were KY, Annie, BS and yours truly. We had a great time chatting and catching up with each other.

Snap shots of us on that night.

Annie left us after the dinner as she had to rush back to Taiping for election thingy, so the three of us wanted more, a coffee or yum cha session would be great. Drove all the way to Yellow House Café but sadly, thanks to the 1Malaysia free dinner campaign, the café was closed. We had to make a detour to find another café which operate until late night. Most of the cafés seemed to be closed that time but thank God, we’ve found Chatime nearby Sunshine Square. Sadly, we had to call it a night at 11pm but I guess we did spent some quality time together catching up with others. Shall see you guys again shortly on BS’s birthday next month.

My MBA classes will be starting this week (Mr. Lor Jun Ren will be in the same batch with me :D), tonight to be precise. Mr. Beh and Bernard will be teaching me for Managing Organizations and Biz. Accounting and Finance; Ethics & Law and Biz. Economics will be taught by some part timers, where the classes will be conducted during weekends. Hope to see you guys soon, ciao~

Long Due Updates

It has been quite some time since I have written about my recent situation, so apparently I have decided to pursue my Master’s Degree studies at Inti International College, it’ll be on full time basis. Yes, I have resigned from my current job and my last employment date should be somewhere around middle of May this year. I have also decided not to pursue any professional papers since my passion is never on accounts since then; which is also one of the main reasons I have decided to quit my current job, I don’t think I’m the person who will stick my ass onto the chair and doing accounts for the next 35 years.

Anyway, life has been good so far, with the recent invitations to here and there; I’ve got myself occupied with events (themed buffet review, restaurant reviews, wine tasting session, fashion show etc) during the past few weeks. One of the most meaningful and memorable ones will be none other than—Vogue For Virtue Fashion Show 2013.

Some of you might have wondered, why was I invited to this event or why do I have the interest to attend…. simple reason, to broaden my eye-sight and get to know more people. No doubt, it was an eye-opening experience indeed. It was definitely an experience of a life time, although it was a little boring at first but things get excited during the exclusive celebrity event, where we get to take photos with celebrities! More photos to be found on my FB lah.

Off I go, wee~ having wine tasting + buffet dinner tonight at E&O Hotel :D :D :D :D :D

You can find many discount vouchers in the booklet, some even valid until the end of 2014! Grab yourself a copy now :D, meanwhile you get to check my handsome face plastered there *shy*

Family Portrait

It has been quite some time after our graduation, since Jw was rich enough to buy her own regalia and I don't have the cash, I had to borrow from her to take a couple of photos with my family members. We had the photos taken at Aspial Wedding near Macalister Road. The package was something like Rm 388 but additional purchase of soft copies might be done. Some of the shots can be found here:

I am personally okay with the quality... but of course, given a better camera and lens, I can do it too. Anyway, my mom was like bragging about the extra purchases, total damage was near to Rm 600, guess the theory of poor gets poorer and rich gets richer is valid huh....

Another Round of Gathering

So we had another round of gathering this time, special guest was Bee Fang since she rarely join us and we haven’t really met each other in few months’ time. Sadly Annie was not able to make it as she has to head back to home town while Kin Yew has to face his bloody exam. Mr Oh was surprisingly shocking too, received his text message during the last few minutes telling me that he was not feeling well. Oh well, I guess the gathering was up to few of us again. The attendants were Shu Ling, Jia Wen, Boon Siang as well as Bee Fang.

The steamboat dinner was held in i-Steamboat City, Lorong Selamat. Ambiance was good, we had some really good time chit chatting and updating each other about ourselves. We had some dirty talks on other people as well *wink*. Food was okay but I sensed hell lot of MSG in the soup as I was nearly thirst to death after the meal.

Some cam-whore session after the meal.

We headed to Straits Quay for some walk as well as the Frozen Yogurt- Fruuze for our dessert. More photos in Fruuze; once again, Jia Wen feels like shitting (stomach ache) and we had to call it a night (somehow it reminds me of the scenes happened in our Malacca trip).

So a blogger friend of mine- Ann was like asking me whether we should shoot some outfit shots to be posted on blogs. This is first time doing it, I guess its basically to introduce what have you worn that night.

From head to toe: Specs from Esprit; Shirt from Guess; Belt from Calvin Klein Jeans; Jeans from Zara Man and lastly, Sneakers from Nike.

Sunday was another big event, one of the food bloggers wedding dinner. It was being held at CRC restaurant which I had my hair cut at Aviation Professional first before heading there. It was a Groupon voucher of Rm10 (voucher value Rm48), the stylist had designed a “under-cut” style for me which I love it since it’s one of the latest trends these days. Slightly pricier but I will definitely come back. Anyway, managed to meet and chat with some food bloggers that night, had a great time. Once again, congratulations to Jacgy and Cynthia for their marriage!
