To meet with old friends

So apparently two of the main organizers (Kang Xiang and Steven) during our Malacca trip came to Penang for a short trip and Criz was the main organizer here for this Penang trip. Since i am leaving shortly, i am pretty much occupied during these time where they are having their stay in Penang. Jesper, one of our "gang" during the Malacca trip, was coincidentally coming to Penang for a short trip as well. Criz was asking me if i am interested to join them for a meal or so, and that was how i get to meet them today. Planned by Criz, lunch was at Chin Bee restaurant at Noordin Street, the main chef- Ma Lai Chong is one of the most experienced chefs around due to his 50+ years of experiences in cooking. We were even invited to his kitchen to witness how he cooks.

It was not my first visit to Chin Bee restaurant, i am a big fan of their Three-Yolk-Egg a.k.a. 三黄蛋. Truly heaven, one of the BEST steamed egg i ever had, nothing beats this and i can assure you. Their soy sauce was SOOOOOOO freaking good that you wouldn't believe, goes well with rice, i can eat 3 plates of this for sure. Highly recommend this dish.

Why was not i included ? Coz i was forced to be the cameraman duh......... Anyway, these handsomes and pretties get to take a photo with the sifu/chef of the day and i don't :(. Anyway, it was a pretty satisfying and delectable lunch.

Kang Xiang, Criz, Steven and Me :D

TSK! See, hate it when i need to take photos with skinnies, makes me look so damn fat chubby. Anyway, we went to one of the most famous tourist attractions in Penang-- "Sleeping Buddha" for a tour. We had a another group photo at there too, thank GOD i was smart enough to bring my tripod together so i get to be in the photo *flicks hair*. Despite the trip and time spent with them were kinda short, but no doubt, it was fun and memorable for us. Good to meet up with them again too, hope to travel to Kang Xiang's hometown next time (a fishing village near Sungai Petani which i was told that its FUN !).

Rushed back to town, Prangin Mall to be precise, to meet up with my buddies which i get to know them via Yugioh (shall not elaborate more *wink*). We used to go out together during some festive events and so, getting lesser these days as i've quit the game and rarely visit the card shop during weekends. Went there on purpose to meet them up, chit-chat and have a couple of quick games with Saw Kin Wai before dinner. Dinner was a headache and Penang was full with cars today, like TOTALLY FLOODED with cars due to four/five major events happening (PC fair, dragon boat, indian/chinese temple stuff) together. Finally made our way to this Korean Palace for our so called farewell dinner. Food was okay, portion was impressive. We did take some group photos before leaving the restaurant too. Thank GOD i brought my tripod with me again *double flicks hair*.

Since Straits Quay was so damn near to Korean Palace, we've decided to go there for a short walk. Had desserts at Bing Bing finally. I took the chance to grab my non-sugar Brown Rice Green Tea too *wink*. Well, so same thing happens, guess i'll get to meet them few months later, gonna miss them *acts gay* much for the laughter and funny moments together. Thanks for the outing guys! :D
