Vacation Runaway- Hong Kong 2012 (DAY 1)

Life is full of uncertainties, sometimes can be good, sometimes can be bad. After leading a miserable life for another half year, finally i get to enjoy a 4-month holiday. I would like to kiss the ground for the blessing, I would have gone crazy if its not for the holiday. Well, been rotting for the holiday, random outings as usual with the closer ones. The more anticipated activity was the trip to Hong Kong with my classmates- ZC and XR. Air ticket with Air Asia was kinda expensive, they always suck our bloody money anyway. It was not promotional price, which I presumed it as their "standard price", total damage was around Rm1,024, inclusive of those baggage stuff. Meals were not included. Did some random shopping before I left to Hong Kong, mainly some jackets and pull overs due to the weather (its winter anyway). Planning was random, as my classmates were in China and i am in Malaysia, could not do too much, just did some research on the food and everyone-knows-where-to-go-destinations. AND here it began my miserable yet memorable HK trip.

Departure Date and Time: 5th of Jan, 2012. 3:50pm.

As usual, for those who have traveled with Air Asia before should have known this already, the seats are horrible, as if everyone's leg as short as chickens'. I could barely sleep with the uncomfortable seats. Air Asia continues to suck my bloody money by selling small bottle (350ml) of mineral water (plain water) at Rm3 per bottle which is why i am calling it PAIN water, not only as such, they will further seduce you with  their stewardesses  food. Although everyone knows air plane meals can be pretty much yuckish but it was temptingly aromatic that time (could be too hungry). Could not resist the temptation and ordered for a chicken roll thing for Rm9, FML. The flight took me 3 hours and 40 mins to arrive Hong Kong. Pleasant flight ? My ass back ache. Took the bus A21 to Mong Kok area to meet up with my friends whom went 2 days earlier than me. The bus uncle was behaving as if he was in advanced stages of menopause for not replying my question which asks: "Uncle ar, Can you tell me which station i should alight, PREASE RA....". He just could not be bothered and ignored me. Can't help but to find myself a seat, thank god i met with this friendly and helpful couple whom offered to help me. Anyway, alighted at Mong Kok station BUT i just knew that i was in the first bus station out of three ! Damn it. Obviously i had alighted at the wrong station and i had to drag my luggage all the way to the third station (called my friend and get to know my mistake from there). Met them and headed back to the small hotel before dinner (was around 9:30pm that time).

The tiny puny toilet was a joke. I bet you can't even stand straight. You or some parts of your body will some how knock into something when you are having your sweet bath. Anyway, left to a restaurant nearby for late dinner.

HK's living standard was way beyond my standard. A plate of such wanton mee, with the dumplings included of course, its HKD 38, which makes it almost Rm15.50.  Lingered around for half an hour and went back for my beauty sleep. Had to be prepared as Day 2 was meant to leave to Macau. Stay Tuned for Day 2 ~.
